What situations call for my services?
Parents / Families:
Your child is struggling to make progress in academic areas, like reading, writing, or math
Your child is struggling with focus and attention, starting work, and/or completing work
Your child is experiencing anxiety at school
Your child is "in trouble," sent to the office, or suspended often
Your child is "eloping" (i.e., leaving the classroom) or not attending class
You have questions about the 504 or IEP process
Your child may need a 504 Plan or IEP, but the school hasn't responded to your requests
Your child's 504 Plan or Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is not being implemented
You would like an advocate to attend a 504, IEP, or other school meeting with you
Educators:
Would you like to receive consultation in any of the following areas:
Implementing inclusive classroom and instructional practices
Promoting positive behavior and responding to challenging behaviors
Understanding students with special needs
Understanding behavior plans, 504 Plans, and IEPs, and translating them into concrete, supportive classroom practices
Holding effective IEP meetings (for Special Education case managers)
Collaborating with Special Education case managers and participating effectively in the IEP process (for General Education teachers)
Participating effectively in SST (Student Success Team) or 504 Plan meetings
School & District Administrators:
Are you interested in consultation in any of the following areas:
Developing an effective Coordination of Services Team (COST) and/or Student Success Team (SST) process
Developing an effective system for case management of students with 504 Plans, including how to hold effective 504 Plan meetings
Participating in IEP meetings in a meaningful and supportive way
Supporting Special Education teachers and staff at your school
Are the educators at your school interested in consultation in the any of the following areas:

The set of services I provide will be uniquely prescribed for your particular situation. Services will be based on the strengths and needs of the child, educator(s), and/or school, and may include:
Providing consultation one-on-one and in small groups
Interviewing parents, caregivers, students, and school staff
Participating in team meetings
Observing classrooms and other school practices/systems
Reviewing existing plans and documents
Revising/drafting new plans and documents
Providing written feedback and recommendations
